Offer
I got an offer, and a half. One is real and one is a guy I know asking me if I'd like to come to his company.
So that's all good.
The offer is low, so I'm countering. Salary.com is a wonderful tool for making your case, but it's not really worth anything in the real world. I mean you earn what the market will bear, and the median salary isn't really a factor. But it's nice to cite statistical figures from their database, in support of your argument.
I fully expect my counter to be turned down, but I will sleep better having done it.
